Rae Bareli's beggar turns out to be crorepati from Tamil Nadu

The details of the Aadhaar card were accessed and it was found that the man was actually a rich businessman from Tirunelveli city of Tamil Nadu.

While bathing the destitute beggar, Swami's helpers found an Aadhar card and a fixed deposit receipt of Rs 1.06 crore inside his clothes.

Lucknow: An Aadhaar card found from the possession of a destitute in Rae Bareli district helped in revealing his true identity — a crorepati from Tamil Nadu.

According to reports, an old man lying on the roadside drew the attention of Swami Bhaskar Swaroop ji Maharaj of Angroom school. Following this, the beggar was then taken to a shelter by Swami.

While bathing the destitute beggar, Swami’s helpers found  an Aadhar card and a fixed deposit receipt of Rs 1.06 crore inside his clothes.  

The details of the Aadhaar card were accessed and it was found that the man was actually a rich businessman from Tirunelveli city of Tamil Nadu. The Swami then informed the family of his whereabouts. Immediately the beggar’s daughter came to take her father back.

The daughter Geeta told the Swami that her father had gone missing during a train journey about six months ago.  It appears that he lost his way and also his memory after drugs were injected into him.  The Swami said that he was happy that the man was reunited with his family.
