Congress revives Vyapam scam in MP

Bhopal: In a bid to revive the issue of Vyapam scam, involving irregularities in appointments in government jobs and admissions in MBBS course in various medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh, ahead of Assembly polls, the Congress on Saturday produced “documents” related to the matter in a local court seeking reinvestigation.

Congress leader Digvijay Singh submitted “documents” before the district court to support his claim that there were lapses in the probe by CBI leading to acquittal of CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and former Union minister Uma Bharti by the court.

The Supreme Court has recently given a clean chit to Mr Singh.
