Top thinker to deliver Niti Aayog lecture

New Delhi: One of the world’s foremost thinkers on management, an undisputed authority on the principles of sustainable competitive advantage, Michael Porter, will deliver the third lecture in the Niti Aayog lecture series on ‘Competitiveness of Nations and States: New insights’ on May 25.

Sources said that top policy makers from across all union ministries will attend the lecture, which will be followed by a panel discussion with Michael Green, chief executive officer, Social Progress Imperative, Adil Zainulbhai, chairman, Quality Council of India and Pramath Raj Sinha, founder of ISB and Ashoka University.

Michael Porter is the undisputed authority on the principles of sustainable competitive advantage. One of the world’s foremost thinkers on management and competitiveness, he is currently the Bishop William Lawrence University Professor at the Harvard University. ‘Niti Aayog Lectures: Transforming India’ was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 26, 2016.
