‘New India’ will actually be realised when you and your family quit politics.

Shorey also got involved in a war of words with a Congress supporter, reported Zoom. "The joke is that the Congress party is reduced to clowns like you who worship one dynasty,” he wrote on the micro-blogging platform. “I don’t need a Congress troll to worry about my career either. Collect your Rs. 2 per tweet while you can,” he added.

Gandhi shared photos from an Army Dog Unit that show dogs being trained in Yoga. He captioned the photos, “New India,” clearly taking a jibe at the ruling BJP government that came into power for the second time in a row.

Shorey has been critical of the Congress in the past. Before the Lok Sabha elections, he put out a video in which he was seen silently endorsing the Bharatiya Janata Party.

He was seen asking in the video, “I believe (ask), have the problems we are facing today, come into existence recently? Was our country on the right path five years back? Were there no riots then? Weren’t the poor killed in the name of caste and religion? Wasn’t there hunger and poverty?”

He further added, “Those who could not improve the condition over 60 years, talk about justice right now. Is it fair that a family would rule a country over generations? These people, living in palaces, who have ruled our country over four generations, now talk about hatred. How would they know about the rage that comes after being treated with injustice and poverty?”
