Five killed in car-lorry collision in Tamil Nadu

Coimbatore: Five people including, a woman were killed when the car in which they were travelling collided head on with a lorry at Vellalore in the city early Saturday, police said.

The family was proceeding to Salem, when the accident occurred, they said.

While four members of the family died on the spot, the driver of the vehicle succumbed to injuries at the hospital, they said.

Investigation is underway.
