Vigilance case against 61 Odisha officers

The vigilance registered cases against 38 government staff and 356 non-government officials.

Bhubaneswar: The State Vigilance department of Odisha government has registered criminal cases against 453 persons in 2017. Cases have been registered against 61 Class-I officials , 61 Class-II, 383 Class III and 10 Class IV staff in the year. The vigilance registered cases against 38 government staff and 356 non-government officials. While judicial process of 284 cases has been completed by December 28, 2017, chargesheet has been filed in 275 cases. 21 Class I and 24 Class II officials have been arrested.
