Bihar road rage: Rocky Yadav held, mother of teen wants him hanged

Rocky Yadav, son of JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi, was arrested by the Gaya police and the special task force early Tuesday morning for allegedly killing school student Aditya Sachdeva for trying to overtake his Range Rover.

The police said he was arrested from his father’s factory near Bodh Gaya, Bihar. The slain boy’s grieving mother said nothing less than the death sentence would satisfy her.

The police said they recovered 19 rounds of ammunition from Rocky’s possession before he was arrested on Tuesday.

“We have arrested him and have also recovered weapons from his procession,” Gaya superintendent of police Garima Malik said while briefing the press on Tuesday. “Rocky has confessed that he fired,” the superintendent of police said.

However, minutes after the statement by the police, Rocky Yadav denied the allegation, saying he was being framed and had nothing to do with the crime.
