UP: Cops illegally sell human body to medical college, probe on

Mathura (UP): The body of an unidentified person, who had been found dead, was allegedly sold to a private medical college by policemen, prompting the authorities to order a departmental inquiry.
"It is a serious matter and needs a thorough probe. If found guilty, action would be taken against a constable posted in Kosi Kalan police station who was tasked with carrying out the last rites," Superintendent of Police (Rural) Arun Kumar Singh said.
He said efforts were on to unearth a racket involved in illegal sale of bodies.
