Odisha boy forwards sex clip, held

Bhadrak: The Odisha police on Tuesday arrested a youth for allegedly making a video featuring intimate moments between him and his girlfriend viral on  social media.

According to reports, the accused youth, a degree college student in Jajpur district, had recorded private moments with his girlfriend, a degree student of the same college, inside the campus. He then threatened the girl with circulating the clip and later forwarded it, making it go viral on social media.

Acting on a complaint lodged by the family of the victim, Dhamnagar Police arrested the youth from his house at Bahabalpur in Jajpur.

Though he tried to damage his mobile phone in order to eliminate evidence, police sent the communication device for examination, sources said.
