Harshita was killed by my husband, claims sister of murdered singer
Harshita Dahiya was shot when she was on her way back home in a car at around 4 PM after her performance at a function in the village.
Chandigarh: A 22-year-old Haryanvi singer was, on Tuesday, shot dead by unidentified assailants at Chamrara village in Haryana's Panipat district, police said.
Reports suggest that the police suspect a gangster related to the singer, who is currently in the Tihar Jail in Delhi.
The gangster, Dinesh, is Harshita Dahiya's brother-in-law and the man she had accused of raping her in a police complaint in 2014, a report in NDTV read.
Harshita's mother was killed the same year. She accused Dinesh, who was convicted and jailed.
Meanwhile, sister of murdered Haryanvi singer on Wednesday also claimed that Harshita was killed by her husband as she was a witness to their mother's murder case.
