Bhopal: The gold finial, worth Rs 30 crore, of a 300-year-old temple in a Madhya Pradesh town was on Thursday found stolen.

According to the police, the “Kalash” or finial made of gold and other precious metal was found missing from the Ram Janaki shrine built by the erstwhile Judev royal family inside the Khaniadhan fort in Shivpuri district, early on Thursday.

“The priest of the temple first noticed missing of the finial and reported the matter to the scion of the erstwhile Judev royal family. Later, the matter was reported to the police, Khanniadhan police station in-charge Rakesh Sharma said.
