J&K governor calls Mehbooba Mufti, BJP leader on Friday

J&K governor N.N. Vohra has called PDP president Mehbooba Mufti and BJP state unit chief Sat Pal Sharma to Raj Bhavan in Jammu Friday for consultations on government formation. An official spokesman said the governor had sent “separate communications” to them to meet him, and the mee-tings would be separate.

Ms Mufti has called a PDP legislature party meeting here Thursday to brief MLAs on her talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders, where she is also set to be elected legislature party leader.
