BJP MP Kirit Somaiya on Tuesday called for an expeditious probe by the Enforcement Directorate to unearth the money laundering in the Bikaner land scam case in Rajasthan, suggesting that it is connected to a company linked to Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra.

Mr Somaiya raised the issue during Zero Hour and though he did not take Mr Vadra’s name, he referred to “jijaji (brother-in-law)” of a family a number of times, in an apparent reference to him.

Several Congress MPs who were already in the well of the House, protesting against being disallowed by the Speaker from raising the issue of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s attack on Mrs Sonia Gandhi, immediately started hooting at Mr Somaiya. The BJP MP said the land involved is 1,400 acres.
