Netaji’s kin joins BJP

Days after the Narendra Modi government declassified 100 secret files on Netaji, Subhas Chandra Bose’s grand-nephew Chandra Bose joined the BJP. He was inducted in the presence of BJP president Amit Shah, who held his first public meeting after being re-elected party chief here on Monday.

“The (Modi) government is committed to usher in the ideology of Swami Vivekananda, Netaji and Syama Prasad Mookerjee in Indian politics. Bose’s ideology has been wiped out. Successive Congress governments are responsible for this,” he said.
