No major changes in J&K govt portfolios

Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti late Monday night allocated portfolios to members of her council of ministers sworn in earlier during the day.

On expected lines, there has not been any major change in the portfolios worked out by alliance partners PDP and BJP in 2015. Portf-olios like home, finance, revenue, law and justice and education have remained with the PDP while the BJP has again got health, urban development, power, commerce and industries and public health engineering. PM Narendra Modi Tuesday called up Ms Mufti to reassure her of “all possible” support in the effort to put the state on the path of peace and development.
