Union home minister Rajnath Singh also responded to the charges levelled by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi while asking him to name a single BJP-ruled state where any communal riot had taken place. “It is easy to make wild allegations. I dare the Congress vice-president to refer to a specific BJP-ruled state where there was a riot or any communal tension,” said Mr Singh, while commenting on Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi’s charges about Prime Minister Narendra Modi being an actor. “Our Prime Minister is not a silent spectator but he acts, so there was nothing wrong saying him actor,” said Mr Singh, adding that Mr Gogoi was older to him, so he respects him. Mr Singh addressed four rallies for BJP candidates in Assam, where Assembly polls will be held in two phases on April 4 and 11.
