BJD legislator forces PWD engineer to do sit-ups for poor road construction

New Delhi: A newly-elected Biju Janata Dal (BJD) legislator from Patnagarh in Odisha forced a government official to do sit-ups for the alleged poor quality of road construction in his constituency, IANS reported.

Saroj Kumar Meher forced a junior engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD) of Belpada block to do 100 sit-ups in public. The video clip of the bizarre video has gone viral on social media.

The viral video showed PWD engineer apologizing for poor work while doing sit-ups.

The first-time MLA further warned the engineer of escalating the violence if he refused to follow his orders.
