PM Modi to observe fast with BJP MPs

New Delhi: To corner the opposition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will observe a day-long fast on Thursday with BJP MPs to protest the recent washout of the Budget session of Parliament. BJP chief Amit Shah will hold a sit-in at Hubli in poll-bound Karnataka on the same day.

The main opposition Congress along with NDA's former ally TDP and other parties like YSR Congress and AIADMK, had held noisy protests during the second leg of the Budget session over a host of issues like the Nirav Modi- PNB fraud case, granting of special category status to Andhra Pradesh and setting up Cauvery.
