Mumbai: As Pawar family is trying to pacify disgruntled Parth Pawar, son of deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, the opposition BJP took advantage of the situation and termed Parth, a mature leader.

According to reports, a meeting was held in Baramati at Shriniwas Pawar’s bungalow to speak to Parth regarding Sharad Pawar’s public reprimand. Few days ago, NCP chief Sharad Pawar had openly called Parth ‘immature’ and said that he gives absolutely no importance to his grand-nephew’s demand for a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.

The meeting in Baramati was attended by father Ajit Pawar, mother Sunetra Pawar, Uncle Shriniwas Pawar and Aunty Sharmila Pawar on Saturday night.

On August 13, Parth had gone to meet NCP chief Sharad Pawar at the latter’s residence Silver Oak in South Mumbai. However, he could not meet the NCP chief but had over two-hour long discussion with paternal aunt Supriya Sule.

According to the media reports, Sharad Pawar was scheduled to go to Baramati on Sunday but cancelled the visit after a telephonic conversation with Ajit Pawar, who was in Baramati, and returned back to Mumbai from Pune.

Meanwhile, BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member Narayan Rane said, “Parth is above 18 years and is mature enough. There must be a reason why he demanded a CBI probe in Rajput’s death case.”
