Yogi Adityanath govt set for first reshuffle in December
Recently, the chief minister shot off two strongly worded letters to his Cabinet colleagues.
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath is preparing for his first major cabinet reshuffle in early December, after the ongoing municipal elections are over.
The chief minister has been constantly travelling since the past one and a half months but according to sources, he has also been making a quiet assessment of the performance of his ministers.
During his visits, he has also been taking feedback from his colleagues. Recently, the chief minister shot off two strongly worded letters to his Cabinet colleagues.
In the letter, Mr Yogi not only expressed his dissatisfaction with the working of “some” ministers but also demanded to know whether the ministers had been holding regular monthly reviews of their departments and interacting with the Centre on issues involving funds for speedy implementation of their schemes. He is reportedly unhappy with the working of at least three ministers of state and one Cabinet minister.
