Will back Congress to defeat BJP, says Hardik Patel

Hardik demanded the state government to waive farm loans and withdraw cases filed against farmers during the recent tillers' stir in the state.

Bhopal: Patidar leader and Kisan Kranti Sena president Hardik Patel on Saturday indicated he would back Congress to defeat the BJP in upcoming Lok Sabha elections. “I will back Congress against BJP (in the 2019 LS elections) if situation demands,” Mr Patel, who is currently on a tour of Madhya Pradesh to attend “Kisan Maha Panchayat” in Indore, told the media on Saturday. He said right now, he has no plans to take a plunge into politics but may take a decision in future. He will address over 15 rallies in the state.
