'Lakhpati' Pragya lives on alms

Bhopal: BJP’s nominee for Bhopal Lok Sabha seat Sadhvi Pragya lives on alms and generosity of society and her costliest possession is a silver “kamandal (sacred bowl)” worth Rs 81,000, her property list, submitted to EC, said.

Pragya(49), who has im-moveable assets worth Rs 4.40 lakh, said her inc-ome was generated from alms and generosity of society. She possessed jewelry worth Rs 2.4 lakh.
They included a gold chain and gold locket worth Rs 48,000 each.
As per the property list, her costliest possession was a silver “kamandal” weighing two kg whose estimated value was Rs 81,000 at current prices.
While she has bank deposits of Rs 99,824, she has a cash of Rs 90,000 with her.
She was homeless and did not own any vehicle, the property list said.
