Patna: The Opposition RJD on Monday created a ruck-us in the state Assembly over series of communal clashes that broke out in Bihar within a span of last one week.

Questions were also raised on Union minister Ashwini Choubey’s son Arijit Shaswat evading arrest despite a warrant of arrest being issued against him.

The latest communal violence was reported from Bihar’s Auranga-bad district. According to police reports, several people were left injured after clashes broke out during Ram Navami procession on Sunday. In order to bring the situation under control, Section 144 was also imposed in the area.

“No action has been taken against people who have been involved in spreading communal tension in Bihar. It seems that CM Nitish Kumar has become weak and Nagpur is now running the government,” Tejashwi Yadav said.

He also blamed the state government for ignoring the Bhagalpur communal violence.
