NEW DELHI: Asaduddin Owaisi, the President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and Member of Parliament, expressed his frustration on social media after his Delhi residence was vandalized with black ink by unknown miscreants. Taking to Twitter, Owaisi highlighted the recurring nature of such attacks and questioned the Delhi Police's ability to protect his property.

Owaisi’s tweet, addressed to key officials, including Home Minister Amit Shah and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, read: "Some 'unknown miscreants' vandalised my house with black ink today. I have now lost count the number of times my Delhi residence has targeted. When I asked @DelhiPolice officials how this was happening right under their nose, they expressed helplessness. @AmitShah this is happening under your oversight. @ombirlakota, please tell us if MPs’ safety will be guaranteed or not."

He also sent a strong message to the perpetrators, stating, "To the two-bit goons who keep targeting my house: this does not scare me. Stop this Savarkar-type cowardly behaviour and be men enough to face me. Do not scurry away after throwing some ink or pelting a few stones."

This latest incident raises significant concerns about the security of public officials in the capital. Owaisi’s remarks point to a perceived inadequacy in the response and preventative measures of the Delhi Police. The repetition of such attacks not only compromises the safety of elected representatives but also questions the effectiveness of law enforcement under the current administration.
