Mr Yadav is, perhaps, the second contemporary politician after Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country to have a comic book released on him.
The book is titled ‘Ek Garib Parwar, Reham Dil Neta Ki Kahani’ (a messiah of poor, kind-hearted leader’s story) and starts with Mr Yadav’s childhood spent in Sefai in Etawah district and illustrates how his parents worked hard to make ends meet.
The 31-page book has illustrations that chronicle Mr Yadav’s penchant for wrestling, his debut and rise in politics.
There are incidents where the SP president fought against caste discrimination and strived to ensure harmony among various groups in the village. The book ends with an appeal to make Mr Yadav the next prime minister.
