New York: Jordan Fragiacomo, 28, a barber by profession forced a flight from John F Kennedy airport in New York City to Seattle to make an emergency landing of an Alaska Airliner.

Fragiacomo, a Hell’s Kitchen employee created a fuss on the flight before he was restrained by the officials.

According to reports, police said the man, who was under the influence of drugs, tried to kiss two flight attendants and open the emergency exit.

“If you continue to restrain me, there’s going to be problems,” he said to the crew. It took several flight attendants and two off-duty pilots to control him.

The plane went into lockdown mode to secure the cockpit while the officials attempted to restrain Fragiacomo. It made an emergency landing and Fragiacomo was removed from the flight.

Later, he confessed to having taken a drug called GBH, in addition to cocaine and Xanax before the flight.

Alaska Airlines spokeswoman Halley Knigges said that the man attempted to access one of the doors in the rear of the aircraft and was “removed by law enforcement.”

The airliner then continued to Seattle with 180 passengers aboard.
