A US drone on Monday fired missiles targeting a house, killing at least 4 suspected militants in Pakistan’s North Waziristan, the second such strike in as many days. The CIA-operated drone fired 2 missiles at the house in Datakhel area of North Waziristan, security officials said.

They said four suspected militants were killed while 2 others were injured.

On Sunday, a drone had targetted a house near Dargah Mandi in North Waziristan, killing at least 6 suspected militants.

On Friday, prime minister Nawaz Sharif had raised the issue of drone strikes at the UN, saying it was against international law.

Pakistan has repeatedly emphasized the importance of bringing an immediate end to drone strikes.

On September 22, at least 6 people were killed in a US drone strike on a militant compound in North Waziristan.

At least four people were killed when a US drone targeted a house in North Waziristan on August 31.
