An overnight assault on a police training college near Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, that killed at least 61 people, most of them cadets, is a lesson for the Pakistani authorities to take action against terror havens. There’s no doubt that Pakistan is a victim of terror but it is yet to realise the demonic proportions terrorism — which it carefully nurtures and directs against India — has taken. Also, this attack shows that extremist groups remain a serious threat for the Pakistani military and security forces. Pakistan needs to wake up and act fast.
