Ready to flaunt double buns

With summer in full swing, we're all on the lookout for airy, fuss-free and easy to do updos. And while braids and knots are quite a rage this season; if there's a trend that's clearly ruling our Insta newsfeeds, it's got to be the double buns. From Sofia Vergara to Kylie Jenner and Miley Cyrus, everyone's tried the 'buns'and with good reason. We talk to Sabrina Suhail, a Bengaluru-based hair stylist who shows easy ways to replicate the fuss-free and statement making style

“Apt for all the lazy girls out there, double buns don't need the assistance of expert hands. All you need to do is make sure you have a couple of basic hair styling essentials in place. So keep a few bobby pins, elastic hair bands, a hair brush and some hair spray ready,” suggests Sabrina

Procedure: Begin by equally parting your hair from the centre. Now do up your hair into ponytails and make sure they're placed right at the back of your head. Twist your ponytail up, but leave the ends hanging. Pin the ponytails so that it stays put. Leave a couple of strands loose in the front. Spray some hair spray to tame that flyaway hair. If you've got greasy hair, rinse well with a drying shampoo for a better effect.

“The hairdo is very young, sassy and absolutely fuss-free. Keep the make-up to the minimum to draw the attention to your hair,” she pipes. The biggest advantage is that you can try this style on different hair lengths, so get set to ooze some youthful whimsy with double buns!
