Monsoon vanity!
Don’t you envy women who seem to have aced their make-up game – the kind, whose make-up is intact for hours together, while yours might need a touch up after every coffee sip.
Don’t you envy women who seem to have aced their make-up game – the kind, whose make-up is intact for hours together, while yours might need a touch up after every coffee sip. And with the monsoons here, it’s going to seem like a task to make sure your make-up stays put. But again, did you know a few tricks are all you need to know, to stem the damage Here’s more....
Skin: This season, pick a matte bronzer over the ones with shimmer. In fact, it is best to avoid any make-up product with shimmer. A light weight foundation is the best bet – preferably a BB or CC cream, since it is all in one. If you need to cover spots, use a light weight concealer instead. Do not forget to seal it with powder/ loose powder to set it well. This also prevents your foundation from wearing off. If you do not need a concealer/ foundation on a daily basis, using a compact is a good idea instead for light weight finish.
Lips: We all know how a bright tone lip colour instantly brightens the face. But never forget outlining your lips first before filling in the lipstick – to prevent bleeding due to humidity Use creamy textured lipsticks, which are nourishing and much better than gloss and other messy alternatives.
Primer please!: After cleansing, toning and moisturising; always use a primer before applying makeup to make it long wear. Make sure the primer is with a matte finish and lasts longer without making your skin greasy. In case if you are using a BB or CC Cream, ditch the primer.
Eyes: Use a waterproof eye liner to prevent it from creasing or smudging in humidity. And use a powder blush instead of cream/ gels for this season, particularly.
