The five days show touches upon the thought of art as a Soulmate' as well as reflects an artist's very being.

Soulmate 2019, an exhibit bringing contemporary paintings and sculptures by maestros from around the world in Delhi 30 artists, a plethora of artworks derived from the very soul of the artist illustrating art the reflection of the soul. Curated by Renu Khera, the exhibition showcases a collection of paintings by senior, eminent and contemporary artists, the exhibition puts forth the various facets of Indian mythology, religious sight like Varanasi, abstract theme, culture, life and nature. An amalgamation of artworks by artists of Indian origin from across the world, the exhibition features names like Subrata Das, R.S Sakya, Nawal Kishor, Sanjay Chakraborty amongst others.

If indeed needed an explanation, a soulmate  is someone you can't imagine being without, a person you believe is worth sticking with and fighting for. It is the one who is aligned with the other’s soul and is sent to challenge, awaken and stir different parts of you in order for your soul to transcend to a higher level of consciousness and awareness. Same way art does so for artist art is not less than a Soulmate. He speaks his heart out to her.  Art calls for complete mastery of techniques, developed by reflection within the soul. Artists have been practicing various forms of art for years. Their works are very much connected with their thought, emotions and lives. They put their soul on canvas to enhance the beauty of their work. This Exhibition is about the collections of paintings and sculpture done by Senior, eminent and contemporary artists which shows us the various facets of Indian mythology, Contemporary thoughts, concept theme, culture, life, nature, etc.

Presenting various art forms in various mediums like oil on canvas, acrylic texture work, mix media paintings and sculptor in bronze and metals, artists have explored the  arenas and aspects of life and it is these varied expressions of art, that we try to bring to art connoisseurs and art lovers through these exhibitions”, said Renu Khera Director, Nifa Art Gallery. Food for the soul brings to light some of leading talent of Indian and foreign art this summer.
