The fashion week included a presentation by five Australian designers whose collections were created with handloom textiles and artisan embellishments as part of The Indo-Australian Project.
Dark glam
Sonakshi Sinha was the showstopper for Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna’s collection ‘Twilight’. The monocromatic theme had accents of glistening silver elements, and comprised handcrafted techniques like appliqué work and hand-beading, black crystals in luxurious satin and twisted crepe.

Ashish N. Soni’s all-black collection was a sartorial interpretation of minimalism with the focus on clothing that’s graceful, functional and relevant, and a look that’s timeless, powerful, sophisticated and commanding.
