Winter wears a cosy ensemble
Jewellery, accessories, or apparel this season, remember to go for collections that are stylish but season-friendly.
Delhi’s winter is famous for its low temperatures and foggy (or rather smoggy) cityscape. In such weather, while everyone would like to look good when partying, they would definitely not want to go for something that can make them shiver or even affect their health. Similarly, an accessory that could get stuck in their garments may result in a terrible blunder (just imagine the embarrassment!). Hence, some of the city’s eminent designers have come up with neat and sleek dress and jewellery ideas that works perfectly for winters.
It is very important for people to select and collect appropriate apparel and accessories that would boost their confidence at any social gathering. At the same time, it is not necessary to acquire a million-dollar piece to stand out from the crowd and, sometimes, a minimalist look can do wonders or at least help you avoid regrettable situations. Dresses and jewellery ideally need to be paired with shawls, sweaters and the like.
Jewellery
Recently unveiled at a fashion show in association with Rebecca Dewan and with actress Vaani Kapoor as the showstopper, Adornia, a range of diamond jewellery, was launched by Rajesh Tulsiani Fine Jewellery. Singer Manasi Scott and actress Shweta Tripathi were also present at the event (adorning the collection!). As the name suggests, the collection promises to adorn the wearer with unique pieces such as emeralds infused with diamonds in earrings, gold-diamond handcuffs polished with rose gold, diamond-studded statement rings and botanical rings. Expect these to pair incredibly well with winter wear.
Apparel
Sukriti and Aakriti, with their Winter Festive’19 collection, present ‘Indo Bohemian’, which breaks free from monotonous silhouettes and styles. Exploring a new world of interesting and unique features and shapes, the collection dwells into the out-there ruffled blouses, flowy bell-sleeves, and interconnected straps. Keeping the palette restricted to minimum colours, the structures are the focal point of the collection. With convoluted embroideries and subtle pops, the collection becomes an Indo-bohemian dream that goes perfectly with this season.
