Wedding on the make
As the wedding bell starts to ring, not only the bride, but her family gathers around carving to look perfect during the celebrations.
Wedding couture is a genre that has been doing rounds since before the time we can remember. The bride’s outfit is of prime importance and plays a stellar role to make her big day a memory for lifetime. Thus, the fashion wing has been under limelight and constant presence of celeb’s is pretty evident. One of the designers, Nishit Gupta says, “It’s always fun to have the Bollywood divas as our muses for the collections and Aditi just made it so obvious. In the attire, she looks like the perfect blend of femininity and elegance. Give her the most experimental Indian drapes and she’ll totally own it. For all the modern-day brides today, Aditi is the perfect bridal inspiration. Talking about the collection, this time interpreting the wedding trends, each design exudes its distinct flavour, which makes it more unique.”
On the other hand, the tale for some outfits has some unique inspirational story to it. For Asha-Gautam’s traditional bridal collection, the outfits are related to a historical love story. “History always remembers the love of Jahangir and Anarkali but love of Nur Jahan and Jahangir is also a story along with the strong personality of Nur Jahan which is not only inspiring but also way ahead of its time,” says Gautam Gupta.
For those, who are exited for their relatives wedding and crave to steal the show (hopefully not from the bride), there are plenty of mix and match options which gives you both tinge of modern and tradtional feel to rock the (jealous) relative’s world.
