Beauty hacks for rainy days
Makeup is an integral part of every woman's daily beauty regime and a healthy skin is imperative.
With the monsoon in full swing, your skin needs a time-out from all those heavy layers of makeup. Makeup is an integral part of every woman’s daily beauty regime and a healthy skin is imperative. Usually, using excessive makeup on a daily basis makes the skin prone to untimely aging, wrinkles, etc. In this season, the skin loses its natural moisture, leaving it either excessively dry or overly oily. Here are a few makeup tricks for a flawless skin this season:
Moisturise before makeup:
This is one of the simplest steps that you can follow before applying makeup layers. This will not only save your skin from excessive chemicals but also help your skin revive from within by boosting the collagen level which plumps up your face every time the cream gets absorbed into your skin.
Avoid hot water for washing off makeup:
Hot water strips your skin of its moisture. Instead, clean your skin with some cotton dipped in baby oil or gentle remover.
Don’t over-exfoliate:
It is best to exfoliate your skin in the morning to slough away any dead skin. But extensive exfoliation can lead to redness, dry and itchy skin. It’s best to follow the right and balanced method during exfoliating and using the right products for best results.
