Looking glass: Metallic chic

The concept of makeup does not just bring out the flawlessness in you but also helps you to embrace the bold and edgy side of you.

Metallics are the new trend this season, taking over runways, being flaunted by celebrities world over. These metallics come in snowy or frosted shades, pearl shimmers with high colour pay off. The texture smoothly glides on lids in exuberant colour combinations.

As eye makeup is the temptation of many, here are a few tips and tricks that could be followed for the perfect metallic looks

PERFECT YOUR FOUNDATION: Create a flawless base with a full coverage foundation.

METALLIC EYE SHADOW: When using metallic eye shadow you should keep it within your crease line. Use a shade of brown to trace your crease just so you don’t exceed the natural crease line as that would look a mess of colours. Shades of purple, olive green, and teal blue look beautiful on Indian skin.

LUSCIOUS LASHES: Use a black liner to tight line your lashes to define your eyes better. Avoid a thick eye liner as that would cover the bright eye shadow. A double coat of mascara would be great to go with the look.

GLOW: Dust off a rose pink or a coral blush to add a healthy glow.

LIPS: To finish the look use a nude lipstick, avoid use of bright colours as it shifts the focus from eyes.
