Looking glass: Nontouring, ready!
Non-touring is a make-up technique that is fuss-free, light-weight and let's your skin breathe.
‘Kinda like spanx for the skin’ – That's how celebrity make-up artiste Renee Sanganoo described "non-touring". What’s more, popular names like Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner have mastered this latest trend. Yes, it's a made-up word, but the emergence of this trend will be music to the ears of women who like being well-groomed. Without caking their faces with eight layers of 15 different products, of course!
Put simply, non-touring is a make-up technique that is fuss-free, light-weight and let’s your skin breathe. It is minimal contouring that highlights and illuminates your face for a fresh and dewy finish. In tropical climes like ours, this translates to wearing make-up, but only you know you are wearing it. Most importantly, this technique and can be used by even the most reluctant makeup user with little or no practice.
Non-touring solves these concerns and can be achieved in three easy steps. So, consider the steps below to get started:
- Apply a luminous primer creating a base.
- Even it out with tinted moisturiser or a bb cream (you could spot conceal, if you like)
- Complete the look with a dusting of iridescent powder on the high points of your face; like the brow bone, tops of your cheeks, area above the cupids bow and down the centre of the nose – where light naturally bounces off to create a sheen.
A look this effortless is bound to be a favourite. Add some mascara and long-stay lip colour and you have a complete look!
Finally, there's a make-up trend you can get on board with and be comfortable wearing in any situation.
