Here’s something that will make you say ‘Hmm, that’s weird!’ Most of us are used to taking our drink with a side portion of food. And there are few combinations that are better than beer and fried chicken.

However, two US based companies, The Veil Brewing Co. and Evil Twin Brewing, have joined hands to create a beer, which has friend chicken as one of its ingredients. The drink is called Fried Fried Chicken Chicken beer and is made with actual chicken pieces.

The chicken pieces are infused into the Indian Pale Ale, for best results. “The idea came to us after eating a significant amount of friend chicken at various establishments in out beautiful city of Richmond,” revealed the Virginia-based The Veil Brewing Co. in a Facebook post. “We actually put a very small amount of friend chicken in one of two of the mashes (less than 4 per cent of the total weight of the mash contents). It doesn’t even remotely taste like chicken. If you think it does, you might want to go to the doctor!”

The drink will have eight per cent alcohol content, and will be a limited-edition release. Fried Fried Chicken Chicken is available in 16-ounce cans and costs $18.50 for a pack of four.
