A carb-o Nara!

Ingredients
- Penne pasta (boiled as per instructions)
- Garlic (chopped)
- Onion (chopped)
- 4 tbsp cream
- Cheese (grated)
- Chicken, boneless, cut in cubes
- 2 tsp pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 egg optional
Method
- Boil pasta as per instructions on the packet. In a pan, add two tbsp butter, chopped onion, garlic and pepper powder. Stir for a minute.
- Add chicken, cover and cook for five minutes. For those who would like to add egg to their carbonara, egg can be whisked with cream and added at this stage.
- Add four tbsp of cream and grated cheese. Add salt and let the chicken cook in the cream and cheese.
- Add cooked penne pasta and serve hot.
