Runny nose that left woman on brink of madness found to be leaking brain fluid
It went on for a long time with headaches and a nasal drip preventing her from working as it even made her contemplate suicide.
Some health issues like a cold and a runny nose may seem common but at times things can be more serious than they seem. Such issues can indicate shocking conditions if they continue to affect people for an unusually long duration.
Kendra Jackson from Nebraska thought of a relentless runny nose as a result of allergies. But it went on for a long time with headaches and a nasal drip preventing her from working as it even made her contemplate suicide.
With Kendra on the brink of madness due to the problem plaguing her for five years, a doctor tested the fluid and made the shocking discovery. He found that it was actually brain fluid which was leaking and managed to fix the issue with a minor surgery.
Although the condition may sound serious, it mostly goes untreated since the symptoms are so common. Kendra was unable to smell anything and lived with a constant taste of salt in the back of her throat.
