Plastic surgeons are seeing many patients wanting belly button surgery

More and more people visiting  plastic surgeons  to have their belly buttons reshaped.

This is 2018's biggest surgery trend, Allure reports. People want this cosmetic surgery for various reasons.

Some people want to tighten their belly stretched due to pregnancy; others want an innie look or get rid of excess skin, the Metro reported.

There are two types of this surgery formally known as umbilicoplasty:

* Umbilicoplasty: It is changing the size or shape of your button. Surgeons remove skin to tighten the skin around the belly button if you want it small. To make it big, they stretch some of the belly button tissue.

* Umbilical hernia repair: It is a procedure that turns your outie to an innie.

While these procedures are simple, they do come with risks of scarring and infection. So caution should be taken if choosing to have this operation.
