While several ingredients easily available are known for health benefits as well as enhancing a person’s looks, some people have rather bizarre methods. While cow urine is claimed to have several benefits for personal hygiene, people in other parts of the world are discovering other options.

As skincare rituals like sperm facials gaining popularity an American woman is claiming that drinking her dog’s urine helped cure her acne. The woman posted a video in which she drinks her canine’s urine and said that she was depressed, sad and had bad acne before she started doing so.

She goes on to state that dog urine contains vitamin A, vitamin E, 10 grams of calcium and it’s also a potential cure for cancer. Urotherapy was practised in ancient China, Rome, Greece and Egypt but isn’t endorsed by health experts today as no study exists to prove health benefits of urine.
