Midwife caught brutally beating up infant in shocking footage

Hospitals are places people go to seek relief from ailments and security, which is why many put their trust in doctors and the staff present there. But some incidents of medical negligence and acts by hospital staff often come as a shocking blow to this trust.

A disturbing video is doing the rounds on the internet and it shows a midwife at a hospital in Bulgaria brutally beating up an infant. The woman was hitting the child as he won’t stop crying and woke up the other children.

The midwife was sentenced to 18 years in prison for punching and slapping the baby. Meanwhile the child has been diagnosed with epilepsy, a condition caused by head injuries at a young age.
