Virginia man returns home to find it broken in, and cleaned

Arlington man returns from vacation to find that someone had unlawfully entered his apartment, and cleaned it; with nothing missing.

In what appears to be a really bizarre case of breaking and entering, it turns out that a Virginia man returned home form a trip to find that his house had been broken into.

However, what was surprising was that nothing was taken, and the entire place had been cleaned up.

The entire strange episode occurred in Arlington when the man who had gone on a vacation returned Monday after midnight to find someone had tidied up his apartment. The shocked man called Arlington Police to complain that his apartment appeared to have been cleaned and some items moved around.

Strangely, nothing was missing.

An Arlington, Virginia, man returned home on Monday soon after midnight to find someone had tidied up his apartment when he returned home from a trip.

He called Arlington County Police when he noticed that his apartment appeared to have been cleaned and some items had been moved around.

There do not appear to be any leads as to who the intruder is.
