Now, a politician Richa Chadda?

Richa Chadda is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to her acting abilities. After proving her versatility throughout with strong characters, she will now be seen in Daas Dev, directed by Sudhir Mishra. The actress will portray the role of a new age Paro, who is a politician in this retelling of the Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay classic Devdas. 

And so convincing seems to be her strong persona, that a political party has reportedly showed interest in having her on board. 

Says a source, “Owing to her outspoken image and the kind of character she’s seen portraying on screen, Richa was given an offer to join a national political party. It’s learnt that top party members were impressed by her persona. The kind of fan following she garners is apt for the benefit of their party too.”

Apparently the idea is that Richa could handle addressing huge crowds without batting an eyelid, and effectively at that. Though nothing can be disclosed about the political party at present, Richa seems to have quite the fan following politically too!
