The grey November skies of Delhi got some colour as the members and allies of the Delhi queer community turned up in huge numbers to mark the 10th year of the Delhi queer pride parade. While smog in the city has forced most Delhiites to stay indoors and there were queries regarding postponing the parade, it did not affect the turn out at the much-awaited event.
This year the march was “against the oppressive attacks and varied forms of discrimination” visited upon different members of the queer community. The parade saw participation from children as well.
