A furry Valentine's Day, anyone?
Each cat that's part of the studio is litter-trained, de-wormed, healthy and old enough to be taken home.
Even as Valentine’s Day is an occasion to be with your significant other, it isn’t just a day meant for couples, believes Mihir Bhatt. The operations head at Cat Café Studio says that his space will exclusively turn into a playground for furry pets today.
For those with no plans on this much-commercialised day, the café is inviting people to cuddle up to the felines that call the place home.
However, this is not the first time that the studio space has been turned into a haven for cat lovers. “Last Valentine’s Day was a success, where we had a bunch of live performances and events. This year, since we have moved into a new space, we wanted to create a day out where you can spend some time with them,” explains Mihir about the day plan for today. He is also putting up a kissing booth for pets after last’s year’s popularity.

As is the case, the pets are also up for adoption tomorrow. “Today could be a day to remember by saving a new life. At any given time, we have 24 cats that are ready for adoption. This is a good chance for people to come together to find homes for these pets.”
And for those who aren’t into adoption, the café will be happy to let you spend time with the cats. “Adopting isn’t on the agenda, primarily. We are called the Cat Café for a reason,” Mihir concludes with a smile.
