The Tata Literature Live! Publisher of the Year award was instituted in 2016 to recognise the efforts of India’s publishers in discovering and nurturing writers. It is one of the very few awards in India to acknowledge publishers in a category separate from their writers.
The award is decided on the basis of the Tata Literature Live! Awards longlists and shortlists across Fiction and Non-Fiction. The judging is done by factoring in rankings as well as the quality of the entries.
