Woman overhears stranger talking about cheating girlfriend, warns her in Facebook post
Although her initiative found support on social media, many pointed out it as invasion of privacy.;
Cheating is something that’s known to spell doom for a relationship and being with an unfaithful partner is bound to end in disaster. While social media has provided a platform for people to interact, share ideas as well as information and raise awareness, the extent to which people can go is also a highly debated subject.
A woman from Mumbai was sitting at a popular joint in Andheri when she overheard a conversation where man bragging about ditching a girl and making out with someone else to his friend. In a bid to find out and warn the girl mentioned in the conversation about it, she took to social media.
She wrote what she heard in a Facebook post describing how the man looked and asked people to share it with every girl with the name mentioned in the conversation.
While the post is meant to warn someone about an unfaithful partner, many questioned it as being an invasion of someone’s privacy.
Some went on to point out more things about the post that may be problematic.
There were also many who appreciated the initiative and also talked about doing the same.

Meanwhile the search for the woman and the man cheating her is still going on even as people debate the legitimacy of such posts.
