Some people lose limbs or other vital organs in unfortunate accidents and some are born without them, but there are few who rise up against all odds as they inspire millions by not letting disabilities hinder their life.

45-year-old Madan Lal from Haryana was born without hands, and in what reflects insensitivity towards people with disabilities in our country, he was denied admission to a school depriving him of education. But Madan Lal took this in his stride as well and developed the skill of sewing beautiful clothes with his feet.

Be it cutting the cloth or taking measurements, Madan Lal does everything with his feet and is good at his job. While he did get support of his family through his childhood, Madan Lal did have to deal with prejudice at every stage.

First he was denied an education because of his disability and when he finally decided to become a tailor, no one was willing to train him. He travelled to another town to find a tailor who was willing to give him a chance, and within 15 days his mentor told Madan Lal that he’ll be successful.

He returned to his village on finishing his training and set up a shop, he experienced a change in his life as villagers were also happy about the new beginning in his life. While someone were sceptical about his skills as a tailor at first, today everyone visits Madan Lal’s shop as he is overwhelmed by the love people show.
